Uniform
Why is there a uniform?
We enforce a uniform at Frogmore Dance School for discipline. All students attending classes are required to wear the uniform. Hair must also be tied back and be off the face in a suitable style for the genre. Ballet buns are encouraged for Ballet. See this video on how to do a ballet bun.
All jewellery including ear studs must also be removed for classes or taped over.
Uniform is availble for purchase either through us or at 'Dancia' on the Crowthorne High Street. Optional branded uniform is available from @veritysgiftsuk
Ballet:
Preparatory and Primary Ballet Classes:
Royal Blue rouched leotard with attached skirt
Ballet tights / Ballet socks & Leather Ballet shoes with elastic to match the dancers skin tone
Optional items: Royal Blue headband and Royal Blue knitted Cardigan
Grade 1 - Grade 3 Ballet:
Cotton lavender leotard with Ballet belt
Ballet tights / Ballet socks & Leather Ballet shoes with elastic to match the dancers skin tone
(Satin Ballet shoes with ribbons are required for examinations)
Optional items: Lavender knitted cardigan
Grade 4 Ballet upwards:
Plum wide camisole cotton leotard with Ballet belt
Ballet tights / Ballet socks & Canvas Ballet shoes with elastic to match the dancers skin tone
(Satin Ballet shoes with ribbons are required for examinations)
Optional items: Black knitted warm up
Intermediate Ballet may wear a Black leotard of their choice
Boys Ballet uniform:
White capped sleeved cotton leotard
Black cotton shorts or stirruped tights
Black leather Ballet shoes with elastic and white socks
Optional items: Dance belt
Modern & Tap:
Little Movers, Little Tappers & Primary:
Royal Blue rouched leotard with attached skirt
Bare feet / White ankle socks and Black Tap shoes with both toe and heel taps
Optional items: Royal Blue headband and Royal Blue knitted Cardigan
Pre Grade 1 - Grade 3:
Cotton lavender leotard with Black Cotton Leggings
Bare feet / Black ankle socks and black Tap shoes with both toe and heel taps. Jazz taps preferable.
No split sole tap shoes.
Optional items: Lavender knitted cardigan
Grade 4 upwards:
Plum wide camisole cotton leotard with black footless tights. Black cotton leggings for Tap.
Bare feet / Black ankle socks and
Black Leather Tap shoes with both toe and heel taps. Jazz taps a must.
No split sole tap shoes.
Intermediates: may wear a Black leotard of their choice
Boys Modern & Tap uniform:
White capped sleeved cotton leotard or T-shirt
Black cotton shorts, leggings or joggers for Modern.
Black leather Tap shoes with both toe and heel taps.
Optional items: Dance belt
Jazz / Freestyle / Acro:
Lavender or Plum leotard from syllabus classes may be worn or a black leotard of the students choice. Black footless tights or black cotton leggings.
Bare Feet for Acro.
Black Jazz shoes or Bare feet may be work for Jazz & Freestyle
Musical Theatre:
Lavender or Plum leotard from syllabus classes may be worn or a black leotard of the students choice. Black footless tights or black cotton leggings.
Bare Feet or Jazz shoes.

Street Dance:
Black Joggers and a Street Dance Crew T-shirt available from @veritysgiftsuk
Contemporary:
Lavender or Plum leotard from syllabus classes may be worn or a black leotard of the students choice. Black footless tights or black cotton leggings. Due to the nature of floor work in contemporary, a tight fitting long sleeved top or leotard may be worn along with dance socks such as Blochsox.
